NJ Motor Vehicle Commission to Cease Walk-In Service At Several Location, By Appointment Only

LAKEWOOD, NJ – Things may be going from bad to worse for the thousands of people who are trying to catch up to their New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission backlogs.Β  The commission today announced that MVC service centers in Cherry Hill, Hazlet, Jersey City, Lakewood, Manahawkin, Medford, Somerville, Springfield, Trenton, Turnersville and Wallington will be ceasing walk-in service and business will be conducted by appointment only.Β  The change in service will go into effect on November 2nd.Β  The five remaining office will continue walk-in services.

In other MVC news, π…π«πžπžπ‘π¨π₯𝐝 π‹π’πœπžπ§π¬π’π§π  π‚πžπ§π­πžπ« is closed tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, and will reopen Monday, October 26. This is due to staffing issues unrelated to COVID-19. You can schedule your appointment online here.

CARDIFF LICENSING CENTERΒ is closed and will reopen on Wednesday, October 28 due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.

MANAHAWKIN VEHICLE CENTERΒ is closed and will reopen on Monday, November 2 due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.
