Cuomo resigns, blaming everyone but himself and his actions

After five years of the media and the left attacking Republicans and ruining careers and influencing elections, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says it’s wrong, now that it’s happening to him. Cuomo and the Democrat party have lodged baseless accusations against former President Donald J. Trump, including Russian collusion and other claims that have since been dunked.

Except in Cuomo’s case, that political pressure didn’t come from the opposing party, it came from within his own Democrat party.

“Let me say now that when government politicized allegations and the headlines condemn without facts, you undermine the justice system and that doesn’t serve men, it doesn’t serve women or society,” Cuomo said in his resignation speech on Monday.

“I understand there are moments of intense political pressure and intense media frenzy that cause a rush to judgment,” Cuomo added. “That is not right. It’s not fair. Or sustainable. Facts still matter.”

Cuomo likened his alleged sexual harassment claims as a firecracker that caused a stampede.

“And it worked,” Cuomo said. “The truth will out in time, of that I am confident.”
