Twitter has banned an official campaign account for the Trump campaign today after it shared news stories related to information found on an abandoned laptop owned by Hunter Biden, the son of former Vice President Joe Biden. That laptop contained potentially incriminating evidence that could tie Joe Biden with the Burisma scandal while he was serving as Vice President to Barack Obama. Facebook has also been censoring content linking to a tell-all New York Post article.
The Twitter blocking didn’t end with the Team Trump page. It also temporarily blocked the House Judiciary Committee page and White House Spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnamy’s accounts for posting the New York Post Story. All accounts have since been restored.
“So terrible that Facebook and Twitter took down the story of “Smoking Gun” emails related to Sleepy Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, in the @NYPost . It is only the beginning for them. There is nothing worse than a corrupt politician. REPEAL SECTION 230,” Trump tweeted.
“Unbelievable. Yesterday, @twitter blocks links to @nypost story alleging Joe Biden corruption on China. TODAY, blocking links to ANOTHER NYPost story alleging Hunter Biden sold access to communist China for millions. I just tried to share that story,” Texas Senator Ted Cruz said.
