Man shot and killed by co-worker at Middletown Township (PA) recycling center

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA – On Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 5:51 AM Middletown Township Police Officers were dispatched to a report of gunshots at 900 Wheeler Way, in the parking lot of Kuusakoski Recycling. Responding officers found a 52-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and co-workers on scene rendering aid. EMS arrived on the scene and the victim was pronounced dead as he had succumbed to the injuries sustained from the gunshot wounds. The victim’s name is being withheld at this time pending notification of family members.

The victim along with his coworkers was arriving for work at Kuusakoski Recycling.

At this time the homicide is believed to be specifically targeted to the victim and there is no risk to the general public. Middletown Township Police Dept. detectives and Bucks Co. District Attorney’s Office detectives processed the crime scene and are jointly investigating the homicide and actively pursuing leads. If leads develop that the media and public can assist with, we will notify all media outlets seeking assistance. Periodic updates will be provided as developments occur in this ongoing investigation.

Police did not disclose the shooter’s name at this time.
