Joe Biden: We Have Built the Blue Wall and I Will Defeat Trump

Wilmington, DE – Former Vice President Joe Biden stopped short of declaring victory over President Donald Trump but spiked the football on his current election accomplishments.

“We don’t have a final declaration of victory yet, but the numbers are clear,” Biden said.  “Just look at what has happened since yesterday we were behind in Georgia now we’re going to win that state. We’re beating Donald Trump by over 4,000,000 votes.  We have rebuilt the blue wall”

Biden said he will win in Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Nevada and said he will have 300 electoral votes with the nation clearly behind him with 74 million votes, more than any presidential ticket in the history of America

If he does win, Biden will be the first Democrat to win in Arizona in 24 years and first Democrat in 28 years in Georgia

Although he did not declare victory, he said he is going to start planning his Presidency and begin developing a plan to combat the spread of COVID-19 and to help get the economy back on track.  Although he offered no specifics, Biden has said in the past that he will institute a national mask mandate and a national shutdown, if necessary.

“We’re not waiting to get the work done, we’re starting the process,” Biden said.

Biden said there’s no time to waste on partisan warfare, but blamed Trump for the economic recovery effort slowing because of “his failure to handle the pandemic”.

The former vice president’s speech was filled with cliches and didn’t deliver any real message that has not already been said by his campaign.

“We have to remain calm, patient…let the process work out as we count all the votes.” Biden said. “Democracy works. Your vote will be counted. I don’t care how hard people try to stop it, you’re voice will be heard.”

“The pandemic is getting more worrisome across the country,” Biden said.
