Former Major League Baseball slugger Jose Canseco is all juiced up about comments made by World Champion pitcher Curt Schilling. Let’s face it, Curt Schilling was denied entry into the Baseball Hall of Fame because of his politics, not because of his dominating career on the pitcher’s mound. Schilling, along with Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds. Clemens and Bonds were overlooked because they were accused of using steroids and other performance enhancement drugs during their careers.
Schilling was snubbed simply because he supports former President Donald J. Trump.
Don’t believe it? Ask New York Yankees Hall of Famer, Reggie Jackson.
Jose Canseco, who also is not a Hall of Famer took a swipe at Schilling saying, “Curt Schilling would be a disgrace to the Hall of Fame.”
“Not nearly the disgrace you and your career was to the game,” Schilling responded with a fastball right over the plate.
Canseco sent the message on Twitter, where he routinely roid rages and threatens to fight people for no apparent reason, but he wasn’t the only slugger taking swings at Schilling. After Canseco struck out, Reggie Jackson stepped up to the plate against Schilling.
Jackson said of Schilling, “Freedom of speech got you freed out of the Hall of Fame, Freedom of speech got your a-s out of Cooperstown, bro!”
“I would say to Curt, ‘Look at what you did. You took yourself out of the Hall of Fame because of what you say and how to express yourself and how you think.’ Freedom of speech is great, but we can’t have a country with white supremacy, Nazis, Black Panthers, racist stuff and anti-Semitics. We can’t have people wearing swastikas because it’s a freedom of expression. Come on,” Jackson said in an interview with NJ.Com.
